For Easter, we went to church and then to my parents' house for a great lunch and time with family. Doing the basic activities of church and gatherings isn't so easy anymore - gathering all of Abigail's stuff, getting her dressed, me dressed, and everything else is crazy. We were a little too late to take Abigail to the nursery, so she went to the sermon with us. She did really great until she started to eat the program, and we took it away and then she started to pitch one, so Derrick walked out with her. Then, sometime around then, I dropped the diaper bag, and dropped my phone as well and left it. Didn't realize it until we were leaving our house, with a baby that was one hour late for her bottle, and a crazy dog that hates to ride in the car. Only for all of us to go to the church (that was locked) at 12:30. Then, we fed Abigail half a bottle in the parking lot and headed to Lawrenceville, with her crying half the way, and then she finally passed out. We got to Lawrenceville, realized that my salad I had made had gone bad because we were in the hot car so long.
BUT......it was great to get together with family. Abigail loved her Easter baskets, and acted really great. The food was wonderful. Abigail stayed the night at their house since mom is on Spring Break, to give Derrick a break and so we can get some things done at home that can't be done with her in the house. Oh yes, then last night, Derrick dropped his phone and the screen broke. Always something!
However, all of that is just common everyday crazinesses. Nothing like what was sacrificed for us and the whole reason for our celebration. We are so blessed to have these crazy days, moments and weeks!!
Ok, for pictures, I know that's all anyone wants to see!

Then, Abigail opened her Easter baskets. Um, not what she wanted from the Easter bunny??

Do I eat it??

Do I eat it??

I mean seriously? What's all of this about?

Then, she opened the basket from her grandparents....They gave her the cutest Bearington Bear bunny to add to her collection that they started for her....

Happy Easter to all!
