17 months old

Little Miss Abbey turned 17 months old today. Craziness. I just can't believe how much she has changed even since her first birthday.

All About Abigail Claire at 17 months:

Words:

- Hey and Bye-Bye

- Daddy and Mama (I think that she finally MAY equate me with Mama)

- She says "Ay O" to Otis

- "Hey Baby" to pictures of babies or to her stuffed animals

- "Nah-Nah" for "night-night" when she is ready for bed

- "Go Dawgs, Ho Ho Ho" or "Jawga" when football or basketball is on (yes, this makes her daddy very proud!)

- "Ho Ho Ho" when she sees something she thinks is Santa or she points where Santas used to be up during Christmas

- When Otis barks she runs after him, points and says "no" in a deep voice

- Still talks jibberish all the time, which is usually ended with "bye"

- "Was da" and "dis" in a whisper when she sees something she likes

- "Dawg", which is every animal

- She recognizes the letter A and says "A"

Things She Loves to Do:

- Play with her kitchen, tea set and table

- Run, run and run

- When she gets really hyper, she runs as fast as she can, waving her arms in the air and screaming...she gets out of control!

- She loves handing you things - off the floor, from her tea set or wherever

- She loves to be outside - if she could, she would stay outside all day long

- Talk on and play with the phone!

- She loves bathtime - especially splashing!

- She still hates having her diaper changed and changing her clothes!

- She says "hey" and kisses all her babies at night before she goes to bed....when she wakes up, she hands all the babies to you and kisses them, then you have to hand them all back to her to put in certain places on the bed.

- She tries to sing the ABC's after I sing them - she starts "A B ......"

- She loves laughing all the time and is very funny and entertaining

I love this age, and wish that I could keep her at this age for a while! It's so much fun!

Here is a very brief video of her saying "Georgia"....I will try my best to get the full-on cheering that she does where she says "go dawgs"!

Also, here is a funny video of her - she loves to pat her belly when her shirt is off - she was wild and crazy and having a blast....
