19 Months Old

It's hard to believe, but little Miss Abigail Claire is now 19 months old. She is so much fun, and the sweetest child. She is so happy and very loving. She is also crazy hyper though!

New Words:
- "Ooooo Wassat?" - always in a whisper (well that's not new, but I always forget to document it!)
- Bear (in a very southern accent)
- Eye (and pokes herself in the eye or anyone else in the eye!)
- Shoe is now said perfectly
- Sock (well, most the time it is just Sah)
- Bird (Bir)
- E-I-E-I-O after doing animal sounds (Baaaa is her favorite)
- She has said a few times "Where is she" - longest phrase yet - she does it when covering her face
- She recognizes the letters A, B, C , I and O and will repeat pretty much all of the letters when I point to them and say them to her.
- Every number she sees is "8"
- Any white or light colored animal is now "Go Go"
- She said "Apple" last night
- SOMETIMES, she will say "gir" when seeing the picture of a little girl, but usually all children are "baby"
- "Back" when she is putting up her toys
- The cutest is when she gets out her "Goodnight Moon" book - she turns every page and says "Night (something)"
- She says "night, night" when we ask if it's time for bed, and then goes to her room (now this does NOT mean she is ready to go to sleep).

What she loves to do:
- GO OUTSIDE!!!! She would live outside if we let her. Putting on a warm-up jacket or anything is torture, because she thinks it means she is going somewhere!
- She is crazy active and the things she decides to do are hilarious....some days she will just crawl around backward for the fun of it. The other day she crawled on her knees for about an hour.
- Loves all her bears and babies, and feeds them and gives them drinks
- She still absolutely loves Go-Go the walking dog, and says "go go" the whole time it is walking.
- Abbey loves to run around. She will run in circles some days. And loves to chase Otis, but he barks and ruins the fun, she just tells him "no" when he does.
- Read and look at flash cards.
- Climb! This is a new thing. She wants to climb on everything. Her leg keeps getting stuck in her crib, because I think she is trying to climb out. She tries climbing on the sofa. She was trying to climb on her table the other day. She will even stack up things to make it easier to climb up. Yikes, seriously baby-proofing is about to take place at our house.
- Move things around the house! She loves to move chairs and things all over (yes, our floors are looking really scratched these days, though we try to stop her from doing it). She even moves heavy things all over the place. She finally likes pushing her cart and the popcorn ball thing (They are SO loud!)
- She loves to try to put on her shoes. She wants to be able to SO badly. She will kind of get them on and yell "yay" and clap
- She loves to dance, and then with me, she gets on the floor and scratches her nails on the carpet - I don't know what it is - it's a special dance only girls can do apparently - she does it with my mom as well.
- She still loves yelling for the Dawgs - "Go Dawgs ho ho ho" in a very deep voice shaking her fist.

Other:
- She has tons of teeth now. All 4 molars and cuspids (yes, I had to look up the name of the pointy teeth!) have broken through. And they pretty much all came in at once
- She is growing like crazy. I can't keep up with her feet! JanMomma and Pop just bought her new shoes maybe 6 weeks ago, and they are already almost too small. (Maybe she will have normal feet unlike me!) I can tell in pants how much she has grown. Some pants we had to roll up around Christmas are now too short.
- Her hair is getting longer, but I have the hardest time keeping it out of her face. She pulls everything out (and pulls her hair out with them!) These pictures were taken in her PJ's, but with a bow in, just to keep her hair out of her face! Hopefully we will be able to pull it back easier soon! Also...pictures never capture her true hair color. It is blonde. And getting VERY blonde. The roots are pretty much white!

Walking on her knees....
