Day 75 - 3/16/2013

It was a very busy day!

Abigail had her first soccer practice.   Derrick volunteered to coach because her team didn't have a coach.  Later, another dad volunteered to help or basically took over.   

Abigail was so funny.  Before we could even sign in, she took off running on the field and was kicking into the goal.......  

......until we were told which goal on the field our team would practice with.  3 year-old drama because it was not the goal she wanted.  

....which was then followed by parent drama, and an NFL-style trading session.

 After all was said and done, Abigail went from a team of 3 girls and 4 boys to being the only girl on the team. I'm not really sure how it ended up that way, but oh well.   I kept my mouth shut because the parents were ridiculous about it all, but if I had been a coach, it may have been different!  Hopefully, it will work out okay.  

Running is her absolute favorite part.

 Later, we went to a birthday party for her friend Jacob.  She had an absolute blast.  There were more toys and ride-on tractors and stuff than can even be described.  All of the kids had so much fun.
