This is the only picture that I have from what I will call the Swim Lesson from Hades.
Abigail started out okay, she was willing to get in and everything seemed fine. Then, they started to do the blowing bubbles thing, and she freaked out, claimed she needed to go use the potty, and then after that, it declined drastically and she never got back in the water. Of course, the pool had to be packed with onlookers watching my child throw a tantrum. We finally gave up and had to go home. When she gets out of control with a tantrum, any sense of reality is essentially over. Abigail can truly be the sweetest child ever or the absolute other extreme. Jennings Mill witnessed the other extreme for sure. After a major punishment for how she acted and how she treated her coach and after a long talk, we are giving swim lessons one more shot. We shall see what tomorrow brings.
