14 months

At 14 months.......

.....She has finally figured out the sippy cup and will actually drink out of it without making a mess. She really likes water, believe it or not. Also, loves the new soy milk.

.....Her hair has grown a ton, has curls, and her cheeks are still chubby and precious!

.....She is VERY silly and funny. She laughs all the time. She loves to play peek a boo and to chase you. And she is FAST now, and can turn on a dime.

....She still puts everything in her mouth. Although, now, thank goodness, when she finds something on the floor (a crumb, string or something), she does not put it in her mouth. She hands it to you and mumbles something using the same tone that I use when I say "thaaaank you".

.....All day long, she opens cabinet doors and drawers. I have put random toys and stuff in 2 of the drawers just to entertain her. She was highly ticked to find out that we recently put safety pulls on a few of the cabinets.....

.....Other things:

....She loves to be outside. Cries when you bring her back in. Loves pointing at the leaves, flowers (which she calls balls), and absolutely loves to stomp on the leaves as hard as she can.

.....When she hears Otis barking, even from across the house, she points her finger and yells, as if to tell him no.

......She has been sleeping later lately, until 8:00 some mornings.

......Her favorite food is cheese. She loves it. She also loves her morning oatmeal made with Almond Milk (it is VERY yummy! I love it too!)

.....She absolutely hates for us to change her clothes - it is a huge drama-filled ordeal. Also, diaper changes aren't exactly fun either (for multiple reasons!)

.....She loves to lay her head on your shoulder now, gives hugs, when I grab a purse or bag she says "bu-bye" and heads for the door.

......She loves Mothers Morning Out and says "hey" to all her friends upon her arrival.

......Her vocabulary hasn't grown that much, but at least now she actually likes looking at books, so hopefully with that, her vocabulary will also grow! However, she very clearly says "hey daddy".

She is super sweet, absolutely beautiful and such a joy!
